Admission

Newberry Community School is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in grades K–4, with plans to expand to grade 5.

The open enrollment period runs the month of February for the upcoming school year. Acceptance letters are issued in the first week of March.

Students currently enrolled at Newberry Elementary are given priority during the initial enrollment period. If seats remain available, additional students may be admitted through a lottery process, in accordance with state guidelines.

Rooted in strong academics, character development, and community partnership, Newberry Community School offers a welcoming environment for students to learn and grow. We invite you to learn more and see if NCS feels like the right fit for your child.
